Definition
An extensional definition is a definition that consists of a list of subordinate concepts. [1]
Notes
Extensional definitions are only to be used when intensional definitions are difficult to elaborate and the number of subordinate concepts to be enumerated is limited.
Example
For example: Theatened species are critically endangered species, endangered species or vulnarable species.
